This unique pen has been made from gorgeous Japanese Chiyogami-Yuzen silkscreened paper. The beautiful, bright colors and designs are layered by silkscreening each successive color on top of the next. I have taken the small paper, wrapped carefully around the pen tube and then cast it in crystal clear resin to create this exquisite pen. It is then held within a pressure vessel to ensure no air is inside the blank.

Once the pen blank has been created, the magic begins! With specialized tools in my shop, I turn the blank with precision for a perfect fit of the hardware. I use a ten step hand polishing process to achieve a high gloss, glassy smooth finish and fit.

Each pen comes with a standard rollerball refill cartridge. This Chiyogami pen is highly customized and there are many beautiful colors and designs that I can use to create a one of a kind pen just for you. The pen will come to you in a black or blue velvet bag for storage and a product card detailing the material used, care instructions and refill explanations. It would make a wonderful gift to yourself or a loved one. The pen itself is made from the Sienna style kit and has a twist mechanism to engage the writing tip.
